The castle-like 1885 Romanesque Revival workplace constructing of the William Ulmer Brewery, left, is separated by an ornate iron gate from the previous brewery’s boiler home subsequent door. An 1886 Brooklyn Eagle article declared that the workplace was “not surpassed by something of the type in Broadway and Wall Avenue.”
